WISTERIA RESIDENCE

Architectural project

Project Description

This extraordinary residence was designed to incorporate multiple buildings specified by the client: the main house, a garage with a car wash, a workshop, a pub, five guest houses, and a drift pad. The 67-acre plot features a 30-foot elevation drop, significantly influencing each structure's placement.

The main house is situated in the site's lower part and features a monolithic, complex design that reveals itself as one approach. A standout feature is the integration of seven cars within the home, with one mounted on the wall, serving as a functional divider between the private and public spaces. The house also includes a car elevator, allowing a vehicle to be moved to the second floor so the owner can view it from the bedroom or while taking a bath—additionally, a cantilevered office hovers over the living room, offering interior and plot views.

The five guest houses are on higher ground, preserving the natural terrain. Each house features an accent of colored glass, making it easy for guests to identify their respective residences.

The pub is divided into two functional areas: a recreation zone with views of the pool and drift pad and a cooking area. Sliding glass walls allow the pub space to blend seamlessly with the pool area.

The workshop building includes staff quarters and a maintenance room for machinery.

Through a highly personalized design process, we created a truly unique project that merges modern architecture with the client's specific, creative requests.
