A complex of three villas in Bali, unified by a single architectural volume, with a strong emphasis on local context and the naturality of materials.
A key request from the client was the ability to combine the three villas into one cohesive space in the future. In response, we introduced a system of transformable partitions that slide along tracks, allowing the layout to adapt to different living scenarios.
Each villa features its own private pool and terrace; however, when the partitions are fully opened, the space transforms into a unified composition. The three pools become visually and physically connected, while the terraces create a continuous shared zone with seamless circulation.
The project also responds to a number of specific requirements: the use of pitched roofs within defined height limits, the inclusion of double-height spaces with a balcony on the upper level, as well as a program that accommodates multiple bedrooms and a shared living area with a kitchen and workspace.
