When we think of impressive architecture, we immediately think of this project. Clinker brick, ornamentation, a metal slide, an 8-meter-high window in the living room, a garage with a glass transition to the main part of the house — all this combined to create an architecture that combines minimalism with originality.
From the main façade, the house is completely closed, almost introverted. From the courtyard, by contrast, it disappears into the glazing. The stylobate section creates a flat surface for the site and emphasizes the monumentality of the volume.
Every element here works toward a single goal — to create a subtle balance of light and shadow, water and stone, privacy and movement. This is a house in which nature ceases to be a backdrop and becomes part of the interior life, quietly growing through the architecture.
The exterior architecture and interior layout echo each other in their dramatic scale and scale: a grand metal staircase reminiscent of a rhythmic gymnastics ribbon serves as a visual focal point in the center of the home, a vast common space, and several bedrooms with spacious walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms, one of which spans two levels and connects to the study.
Everything here is designed to create a balance between light and shadow, water and stone, privacy and life. A home where nature is not outside, but within.
