Project Description

Studio City Villa became an unusual and ambitious interior project for our team. We were tasked with creating a living environment that moved away from the minimalist aesthetic we typically favor. The client envisioned an expressive, richly detailed interior with complex material combinations, strong contrasts, and a distinctive visual identity. This brief became a creative challenge that defined the entire direction of the project.

A key stage of the process was immersing ourselves in the client’s preferences and understanding how to translate his vision into a cohesive interior language. Rather than simplifying the concept, we embraced its complexity, carefully balancing different textures, materials, colors, and decorative elements throughout the house.

The result is a multilayered interior where every space has its own character while remaining part of a unified composition. Contrasting surfaces, natural stone, warm wood, expressive textures, custom elements, and carefully selected furniture create a sense of depth and visual richness. Instead of relying on minimalism, the design is built around combinations of details and materials that gradually reveal themselves as one moves through the house.

Particular attention was given to the relationship between individual spaces. Materials and design elements continue from one room to another, creating visual connections throughout the residence, while changes in textures, proportions, and accents give each area its own atmosphere. This balance allows the interior to remain complex and expressive without becoming fragmented.

Lighting became another important layer of the design. Integrated architectural lighting, decorative fixtures, and accent illumination emphasize materials and textures while creating different scenarios throughout the day. In the evening, the perception of the interior changes: surfaces gain additional depth, individual details become more pronounced, and the house develops a warmer and more intimate atmosphere.

Studio City Villa represents a different side of our approach to interior design. Instead of reducing the space to its essential elements, we worked with richness, contrast, and complexity, creating a highly personalized interior shaped around the client’s individual vision.
