This project features a distinctive house situated in a forest setting. Rather than blending the structure into its natural surroundings, we embraced a design that stands out against the backdrop of the coniferous forest, creating a striking, almost otherworldly appearance. However, the layout and zoning of the house are focused on facilitating interaction with the picturesque forest around it rather than with the house itself.
The design thoughtfully preserves the mature, valuable trees on the site, with various house elements, such as the canopy, two-story master bedroom wing, and living room blocks, weaving between the trees. This placement ensures that every room enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding forest.
For the façade, we selected materials that enhance visual appeal and durability. The first floor is primarily clad in wooden planks to add warmth and texture. The main finishing material for the rest of the house is vibro-cast fiber-reinforced concrete slabs, chosen for their resistance to the harsh forest environment and flexibility in achieving desired colors and textures.
