The LIGHT INTERIOR was designed for a family with two children, located in a building that heavily influenced the style. Our goal was to blend modern materials with the aesthetic of the era of Communist industrialization under Stalin. Initially, we planned minor changes, but eventually, we decided to demolish all the partitions and start fresh. This created a more functional layout, including two full bathrooms, a small office, a master bedroom, a nursery, and an open-concept kitchen living room.
A standout feature is the partition separating the kitchen and living room. When open, it seamlessly integrates with the wall behind the sofa, and when closed, it reveals a striking blue-painted wall.
