Sacramento interior

Private house

Project Description

In this Sacramento interior design project, we worked within a complex architectural structure featuring numerous openings of varying heights, which we incorporated thoughtfully into the design.

We based the design on three primary materials: porcelain stoneware, wood, and paint. We established cohesive architectural horizontals and verticals by aligning these materials along consistent planes, resulting in a visually unified space.

We used U-shaped frames throughout most rooms to define and distinguish the different zones. This approach allows each area to be visually distinct without reducing the space's openness, creating a conventionally zoned yet open environment.

Against this foundational palette, we introduced designer furniture and lighting accents, adding warmth and elegance to the interior. This combination achieves a refined, natural minimalism that is both sophisticated and inviting.
