In this project, our goal was to enhance the architectural frame system of the house without drawing attention away from overly complex interior details. The client wanted the focus to remain on the structural elements, so we established a base of light walls paired with a graphite-colored support and beam system.
Another key request was to keep the space light and uncluttered, avoiding any sense of heaviness. We achieved this by designing airy, geometric furniture that appears to float, not touching the floor.
We used dark wood for accents to highlight the architectural elements, complemented by light walls and soft textiles. The beams seamlessly flow into a monolithic large-format porcelain stoneware floor. We ensured a consistent and understated approach to lighting, integrating additional lighting scenarios that blend smoothly with the house’s design, avoiding any visual disruption.
