PLANE HOUSE

Architectural project

Project Description

PLANE HOUSE, the first in a collection designed by the founders of ZROBIM Architects, is a modern home that reflects the studio's design philosophy and extensive engineering expertise. The project uses clean geometric lines and bold, proven architectural solutions.

Situated on a 5-acre plot adjacent to a coniferous forest, the house offers breathtaking views through its panoramic windows, creating a deep connection with the natural surroundings. Privacy is enhanced by a retaining wall adorned with decorative thujas, while the carefully designed planes of the structure create a sophisticated visual dynamic.

Spanning 1,475 Sqft, the home features a functional rooftop with a swimming pool and summer kitchen, where safety and visual comfort were integral to the design. The house exudes a sense of spaciousness and openness, achieved by the intentional absence of load-bearing elements within the interior. Inspired by the iconic Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the architects placed the structure on elegant, custom-designed columns, making it an actual work of architectural art.
