The house was designed for a customer who came with a clear indication of a specific project in our portfolio. We analyzed this project, identified accent things for ourselves and rethought, creating a new one that carries the ideas of that project and takes into account the personalized needs of the customer.
The task was to create a laconic house with a dark gray facade that could echo the planken of a pleasant natural shade. The location of the site determined the main species accents, the main among which was a dense forest. Therefore, it was decided to make panoramic windows in the house, including a 6 m high jumbo window, which is designed to illuminate the two-light space inside and allow the morning sun to enter the main room of the house.
In the most insulated rooms, we installed folding shutters outside, which allow to limit the penetration of light into the room and harmoniously complement the architectural image of the house.
It was also important for us to protect ourselves from neighbors, but this was complicated by the fact that the concrete base of the fence and poles had already been installed. Therefore, we decided to supplement it and beat it differently. Since a gazebo is supposed to be on the back side of the plot, we decided to create a covered gallery that adjoins the house on one side and rests on the existing fence on the other. And the connection of the supports was disguised by the installation of a fine grid and the introduction of liana-like plants into it, which closed the view of the neighbor's yard and added comfort to the walking area under the gallery.
