The object of the renovation was the observation deck overlooking the high-mountain Medeu sports complex. This platform is a resting place on the "Stairs of Health", which consists of 842 steps and leads to the Medeu mudflow protection dam. From the upper platform of the dam, there is a mesmerizing view of the skating stadium, its surroundings and the enchanting mountain scenery.
Our main goal in the renovation was to expand the functionality of the place and to put a new philosophy into it: about the connection between old and new, about time, about history. The result of our work was a dynamic blue ribbon, which seems to develop in the Medeu mountains and permeates the monument, symbolizing the infinity of time and influence on the future through the prism of history.
