Sata Residence

Architectural project

Project description

A house that inspires strength and power.
During the reconstruction of the house in Latvia, we were inspired by the projects of the architect Vincent Van Duysen. Working on the facade and shape, we changed the decoration of the house to large-format fiberboard panels, the upper block was highlighted with burnt wood, the roof slopes were extended, and covered galleries were organized around the perimeter of the house. The garage and carport block is designed as a series of massive concrete blocks stacked on top of each other, which create a feeling of clean, sharp minimalism.
The style of the renovated house can be defined as a neo-chalet, which brings a new meaning to the understanding of modern suburban life.
