This house is situated between neighboring homes on the west and east sides, with access from streets to the north and south. Given the dense surroundings and limited external views, we focused on creating an internal aesthetic that enhances the site’s beauty, framed by elegant architectural design.
The concept centers around alternating private courtyards and architectural volumes, all connected by a glass gallery. This gallery blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing a seamless flow throughout the home.
For the facade, we selected natural materials like untreated larch, clinker brick, and sheet metal, which were chosen for their tactile qualities. These materials reflect the home’s design philosophy, emphasizing the intimate interaction between people and the architecture around them.
